    Default beforeadd event on a form

    beforeadd event on a form


    I am looking to use the beforeadd event on a form .
    However what i have seen is that it fires on only while the highest level elements are being added .

    So ::
    If I have a form that has three containers , which have two items each , which again are containers and each of these containers have elements [ textField and combo ] , then the beforeadd is run only thrice .

    If it were to run recursively , applying something to all the elements [ Or elements with a certain property ] within the form would be easier .

    I'm not sure that this kind of event capturing is supported by all browsers. Here's an older thread about it:
