Thread: ExtJS 5 zoom and scroll on touch devices

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-15817 in 6.2.0.589.

    Default ExtJS 5 zoom and scroll on touch devices

    It seems zooming and page scrolling are disabled on touch devices (eg. iphone, ipad) in ExtJS 5. Are any config or workaround to enable these behaviour back? Thanks.

    I'm stuck on this too, no matter how i set the maxUserScale attribute of the viewport or
    even if i append this to my index.html:
    <meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1.0,width=device-width,user-scalable=yes" />

    How can i make my ext js 5 app zoomable on an ipad???
    Thanks for any hints...

    No one else having this problem?
    Any one knows where ext js forces the viewport attribute "user-scalable" to "no" ?
    Thanks for any hints.

    Engineering had some time to research this today and the short answer is that it will take some major changes to get this working.

    There is not an option of providing a quick override with the current setup.

    We are researching alternative approaches that might provide better functionality

    I spoken with an Engineer dealing directly with this issue. Thank you all for the report! I have opened a bug in our bug tracker.
