Thread: I don't want to display the red markers in a changed grid cell

  1. #1

Default I don't want to display the red markers in a changed grid cell

This seems basic, but I cannot find out how to do it...

I don't want the cells of my grid to display the small red icon that signifies that the grid cell is changed. Anyone?

    Thanks!

Can you just commit the data set afteredit?

Never / ever for the whole site, or just in particular situations?

Never/ever: maybe remove/relocate the red flag from the css.

Particular instances, alter the css or intercept the change and stop the modification of dirty.

I haven't done either, and I know these aren't complete answers, but in the meantime of someone else responding with a better idea it gives you something to look into.

Depends what you're going to do next and if / when you want to update the records in your source. If you commit changes or modify the dirty field then you'll screw up ext pipeline. Modifying the css in some way shouldn't alter the ext processing of the data.
