Thread: HTML5 search field (inputType: 'search') not working in ExtJs 5.0.0.970

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-14013 in 5.0.1.

    Default HTML5 search field (inputType: 'search') not working in ExtJs 5.0.0.970

    There appears to be a problem with the styling of the HTML5 search text field in ExtJs 5.0.0.970. The field in extjs5 has no width and is too small to see what you are typing. I repro'd it in Safari, Chrome, and IE browsers.<br><br>You can see the behavior on the API examples of the Ext.form.field.Base. Look at the example "live preview" link in 4.2.2 and 5.0.0:
