Thread: DataSimlet has unreachable code in getData

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-14342 in 5.1.0.47.

    Default DataSimlet has unreachable code in getData

    Given the current source for DataSimlet: http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.2/s...ataSimlet.html this code has unreachable parts:

    var me = this, data = me.data, params = ctx.params, order = (params.group||'')+'-'+(params.sort||'')+'-'+(params.dir||''), fields, sortFn; if (!order) { return data; }
    As order is at least a string of "--" no matter what is set in the params object the if-block can never be reached. Data is thus obliged to be an array which renders this unusable for endpoints that need objects as response.
