Thread: Sencha Cmd build production not working

  1. #1

Default Sencha Cmd build production not working

When i build my app using the production command my app doesn't load anymore in the browser. When i check the console it says:

Document was loaded from Application Cache with manifest http://localhost:8080/pdc-mobile2/bu...cache.appcache(index):1

    Application Cache Checking event (index):1

    Application Cache NoUpdate event
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'hasAttribute' of null
This error comes from a file named global-shortcut.js regarding this line: if (!document.body.hasAttribute('cz-shortcut-listen')) {. It seems that the body is null...

None of my files are loaded in and i only see index in my resources tab which is the index.html file. When i run the command 'sencha app build testing' or 'sencha app build package' all works well but for some reason the production version never seems to work...

What is this file and how are you including it in your application. Usually errors in compiled/compressed version of app are caused by syntax error. Use jshint/jslint to check the, global-shortcut.js, file.

I actually don't know where it comes from. I've never seen it before and have no idea where i include it in my application.

Have you tried searching your project for any references that js file?

What browser are you having this problem. Have you tried another browser? Have you tried clearing the browser cache? Does the testing build work?

[QUOTE = fmoseley; 1059280] Welke browser heb je dit probleem. Heb je een andere browser geprobeerd? Heb je geprobeerd het wissen van het cachegeheugen van de browser? Doet de test build werk? [/ QUOTE]The test build did work, it seemed that the production build did something different which causes the application to crash. A collegae of mine figured out what went wrong. It was Non sencha related.
