Default Prevent Cmd from downloading remote catalog

    Hi,

is there any possibility how to prevent Sencha Cmd from downloading catalog.json from remote repository? We use Cmd 4.0.1.45 behind a firewall where servers are not allowed to communicate with outside world. The result is that the building application with "sencha app build" takes a long time until the request timeouts.

    Thanks.

    Michal

    Michal,

You should be able to remove the remote repo that initiates the catalog lookup.

First off, issue the following from your command line:

    Code:
    sencha repo list
You should see something like this as a result:

    [INF] sencha - http://cdn.sencha.com/cmd/packages/

That indicates a remote repo called "sencha" that is being looked at when you build. Simply remove that repo by issuing the following from your command line:

    Code:
    sencha repo remove sencha
At this point, Sencha Cmd should stop looking for the remote repository.

If you need to re-add the repo at any point, you can do this:
    Code:
    sencha repo add sencha http://cdn.sencha.com/cmd/packages/

    Thanks!
    Greg
