Thread: Wrong index in sencha-chart pie renderer and label renderer for new records of store

Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-16631 in 5.1.3.

Default Wrong index in sencha-chart pie renderer and label renderer for new records of store

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 5.1.0.107
    • Ext 5.0.0.970

    Browser versions tested against:
    • Chrome
    • IE9
    • IE10

    DOCTYPE tested against:

    Description:
    • Wrong index in sencha-chart pie renderer and label renderer for record added to store
    • If you add an item, the renderer called for the new slice receives index 0
    • If you add two slices the renderer receives index 0 and 1

    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • hhttps://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/h6l
    • In the fiddle I wrote index as first part of the label of the slice, first two slices have index 0 and 1 (correct)
    • Add more slices clicking on "Add 1 item" or "Add 2 items" or "Add 3 items"

    The result that was expected:
    • Every slice renderer must get correct index of item (in store)

    The result that occurs instead:
    • New slices get index re-starting from 0

I think that the problem is in :
    /ext/packages/sencha-charts/src/chart/series/Pie.js
    in getSprites
it sets sprite.rendererIndex as a counter of new sprite, I think it should use the index of store
so that index can be used in renderer's to access store item
