Default "app build" replaces Umlauts with questionmarks

    Hello,
    i've an other strange behaviour.

In my sources i am using german umlauts in strings, like , , .
Via "sencha app watch" everything works fine.

But "sencha app build" replaces all umlauts in the production app.js with questionmarks.

    An example:
    Code:
html: 'Bitte erst einen Benutzer oder eine Filiale links auswhlen.'
    Becomes:
    Code:
html:"Bitte erst einen Benutzer oder eine Filiale links ausw?hlen."
All Files are utf-8 encoded. Adding ext-locale and locale: "de" didn't change this behaviour.

Does someone has a clou, how to fix this?
I am using "Sencha Cmd v5.1.2.52" and "GPL Version of Ext JS version 5.1.0.107"

    Regards
    .nowrap

Same problem here. Using Cmd v5.1.2.52 with the commercial version of Extjs 5.1.0.107.

I'm currently so much annoyed! Everything seems to be broken everywhere!

And it doesn't even matter which encoding the file has. UTF-8 with/without BOM, ANSI ... These special chars are always "replaced" with "?".

So this is a known bug and fixed in the latest nightly of Sencha cmd. Just tested this after contact with the support.

This issue is now fixed as part of Sencha Cmd 5.1.3, you can use the nightly build (avialable in the support portal) while the beta/GA is released.

ok, but as long is a nightly version we should expect finding other bugs...

+1 ... and waiting for Extjs 5.1.1, too! I cannot understand what is taking so long for a bugfix-release.

+1 I just got to use the Sencha Complete package but this seems to be a showstopper?? ;-) I wonder how such a critical bug was unnoticed, no one ever tried building a german app yet? Needed ASAP IMHO.
