    Default Answered: Menu item as plupload button

    Does anybody successfully solved the problem when you use menu item as plupload button to browse files on touch devices in Chrome browser?

    What I currently did:
    Code:
    attachmentButton.menu.render(Ext.getBody());
    attachmentsPanel.browseButton = attachmentButton.menu.getComponent('uploadFile').id + '-textEl';
    attachmentsPanel.initializeUploader.call(attachmentsPanel);
    Because security reason you cant call click on hidden button (or you can but sometimes it does not work). There are other hints like change hideMode but again it does not work for me in all cases. The code above works well for touch devices except Chrome. Question is why.

    Mouse click works well but when you use touch screen nothing happen. Click event is called but browse dialog stay hidden. When you use console and select target in click event and then you use touch screen browse dialog is displayed correctly. Does anybody know why? It almost like there is missing focus or something like that. IE, FF works fine on touch or desktop. Chrome works well on desktop only. What I found you can tap on bottom border of the menu item or bottom-right corner and dialog is open. So maybe z-index is set incorrectly in Chrome? Any help will be appreciated.

  2. OK I found the problem in UI we use on the menu. Here is example if anyone needs solve similar issue:

    Could you provide a little more detail about the component you are working with? Plupload is a third-party plugin which we don't provide support for, but if the issue you're having lies within the events or layout of the Ext components, I'd like to help you get that resolved.

    If you could provide a small example as a fiddle (https://fiddle.sencha.com) I'd be happy to work through this with you.
