Thread: Visual combobox bug in Chrome 43.0.2357.65 m

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-17847 in Backlog.

    Happen also with textbox, with Ext JS 5.1.1 release and Chrome 43.0.2357.65 m, see https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/nck

    text position chrome.PNG

    I think it would make sense that Sencha provide an emergency hot patch to handle that.

    That new issue is similar to that old one -> https://www.sencha.com/forum/showthr...h-off-location

    Question: is that a cross browser fix or should i prefix that with .x-chrome?

    I'm use:

    Code:
    if(Ext.isChrome && Ext.chromeVersion===43)
        Ext.getBody().addCls('chrome-43');
    And CSS-fix:
    Code:
    .chrome-43.x-form-text-wrap {
        vertical-align: top;
    }
    It's worked for me.

    Running Chrome Version 44.0.2403.18 beta-m, and it looks like the bug is gone.

    Maybe it's just me, but with the provided solutions the text seems to be position a little bit to low in the field. Using this in all.scss:
    PHP Code:
    .x-chrome .x-form-text.x-form-focus displayinherit; }
    Text appears to be positioned correctly. Didn't test with Safari or older Chrome versions.

    Can we get this added to the overrides list for Chrome here?

    This solution worked great for me:
    Code:
    /** * Chrome bug fixes *///on input field click the inner div has margin. The inner div jumps down for no reason
    .x-form-text { display: inline;}
    This may save somebody else some time - I just wasted more time than I should have on this =(
