Default What about SA open source?

If Sencha Architect is almost death SA, maybe could be a good idea to open source of this project to the community for collaboration, and the forums about SA will has more activity that it.

    regards

+1 I very much wish this would happen.

Unfortunately, based on Sencha's history it seems very unlikely. As far as I know, the source for other discontinued products was never released. This includes Animator, the Desktop Packager, and the old Eclipse plugin. Moreover, I remember Aaron saying in a post before he left that Sencha had already licensed the source to some organizations in an OEM fashion.

Also, in the above thread it's stated that SA is in fact built using Ext. I highly doubt it's the GPL version, so releasing the full code might have additional licensing implications.

So, while it is possible, chances aren't good.

It's important to note that Sencha has publicly stated a commitment to at least update Architect to Ext 6, so there will probably be at least a few more updates. Still, with lack of communication and bug fixes, it's hard to know for sure what's going on... please at least give us a bug fix soon!

    First the license change.
    Now SA seems abandonware...
I love ExtJS but seems that they want me to go to another framework...

To understand what's being said here, are they discontinuing Sencha Architect at some point in time? This thread has me confused. Does SA stand for Sencha Architect?

No official statement from Sencha but seems that development on SA is stalled.

Seems that most if not all SA team left Sencha.
