Default Answered: Deep two-way binding of a formula returning an object.

I have a field that contains JSON-encoded object. I need to bind form fields to the properties of that object. So I created a two-way formula to encode-decode the JSON for that purpose. But it appears the set method of the formula is never called when binding to resulting object properties.

Here I have a small fiddle that demonstrates this behavior.

I suppose, the binding scheduler cannot look inside the object properties but I wonder if there's some workaround for this.

  2. Adding deep binding handler to controller and setting the formula value on each change solved the problem. Though not sure if it's a good solution.

    Here's a feedle
