Chrome 43 Issue Override for menu hiding - will it be needed permanently?

I'm wondering if the Chrome 43 Issue Override for menu hiding for ExtJS 4 ( https://www.sencha.com/forum/announcement.php?f=87&a=58 ) will be "permanent". Is it due to a bug in Chrome that might get fixed, or an improvement to Chrome that will never be taken out?

I don't use Chrome all that much except to test my company's app - I like the debugger.
