    Default iOS 8.x triggerInitialized crash

    Touch version tested:
    • Touch 2.4.1
Browser versions or Packager version tested against:
    • Safari
    Device and OS tested against:
    • iPhone 4s, iOS 8.3
What theme are you using for your application:

    Description:

After a release build has been made and deployed on our webserver, certain parts of our app don't work and make the app crash. We noticed this behavior occurred most of the time whenever a Label was being created and added to the DOM. Since we don't have a Mac, debugging on a iPhone was a bit tricky but we managed to debug it by using Telerik Appbuilder and connecting the iPhone to our Windows PC.

Whenever we had a view that is a container and in his items array there were 2 labels right after each other, the app would crash when you visit this view. For some reason by inserting another component between these 2 labels it stopped the crashes.

But now i've encountered the same problem again so i decided to create this bug report. You can see in the iosBug3.png attachment where exactly the app crashes; triggerInitialized. And the stacktrace in iosBug2.png that undefined is not an object (evaluating f.length)

    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    I am not sure if this even is reproduceable, i have not managed to create a Fiddle in which this problem occurs. But if anyone wants to try, you need;
    • iPhone with iOS 8.x
    • a release build with a view that has 2 labels after each other
    • Some way to debug the iPhone
    • Navigate to that view and see if the app crashes.
    The result that was expected:
    • The view should initiate and show the 2 labels
    The result that occurs instead:
    • App crashes

I'm not really sure how, for me this behavior only occurred in views that had 2 labels next to each other. Then i created production build en checked it on my iPhone with iOS 8.3
