From my experience if you want to develop web desktop application , then using extjs will make less coding then using angularJS .

The main problem for extjs now is a good IDE . I'm not talking about code editor , I'm talking about RAD .
Native Windows Development tools like windev or clarion which can generate windows with Table ,form and report with clicking on the wizard.

if I need different event , all I need to select

I no need to type code listeners:[{ }] . I only need to type what I want to do when this event trigger.

Let me ask you, if Sencha able to come out such IDE, will you still want to go back to coding ? is MVC or MVVM or MVW still important ?

sadly, the Current ext Designer to me is below VB6 level .

Oh god, that would make me stop using it right away if that was the only way. Get out of my way and let me code!

In this regard, the closest thing available for Ext JS is uniGUI.

If you need WYSIWYG type of app builder, Sencha has Sencha Architect. Not a fan of it personally, but I bet it's better than uniGUI.

I'm a fan of it but it can be a love/hate relationship sometimes. It sometimes refuses to redraw the preview and switching between code and design views can be buggy. I wouldn't want to be without it, though. Its code editor could do with some love, too.

thanks for suggestion , they are better compare to code editor but way too basic if you compare it current RAD tools available for windows.

Why we need RAD tools for extjs ?
for example this web desktop application that I develop using extjs.

Let say if I want you to create one (menu, tabcontrol , mdi windows , table ) without need the database. how fast can you code ?

Most windows RAD tools, it will take less than 10 minutes with very minimum code or no coding at all (depend on the tools) . But can you do that using code editor ? will MVC , MVVM or MVW help you ?

A good development tools is very important , take java and .net for comparison.
java took a lot longer time to adopted compare to .net . why?
that because VS play the most important roles . VS let programmer easy to develop application using net . While for java , there are no good development tools at the beginning , everything hand code , which is slow

Personally, I think writing some JSON to create your views is RADder than drag/dropping.

It's actually faster to create a simple config object for your example above than drag/drop it into existence!
Longtime Sencha engineer. Now surplus to requirements apparently...

You don't even need to write JSON. You can generate it using e.g. Mockaroo.
