Thread: [5.1.0] Validation of ComboBox doesn't occur if query is vetoed

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-18992 in 5.1.3.

    Default [5.1.0] Validation of ComboBox doesn't occur if query is vetoed

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 5.1.0.107
    • 6.0.0.640


    Browser versions tested against:
    • Chrome

    Description: With a ComboBox that has type ahead set and a validation (e.g. a vtype), if the query for the type ahead is vetoed (by a beforequery listener) then the vtype (or other validation) is not evaluated.
    Although the type ahead query is vetoed, the validation should still occur.
    This is a problem with a ComboBox that we use in two different modes, one where type ahead is allowed and one where we stop it using a beforequery listener.
