    Any progress with this bug? ExtJS 6.0.2 did not fix this. Can we expect a patch?

    Is there a workaround?

    Have the same problem, but with charts:
    canvas_over_collaps.png
    Chart's canvas is over expanded collapsible component. Fiddle

    Since the ticket is still open, I don't expect this to be fixed in 6.2 that's coming this month. But then again, this ticket is only 1 year old, still too young for Sencha

    I agree with you, but maybe someone of the users has workaround for it.

    Dirty solution is for collapsible element:

    Code:
    listeners: {
       afterrender: function(el) {
           el.initialZIndex = el.el.getStyle('z-index');
        },
        float: function (el) {
            el.el.setStyle('z-index', Ext.ZIndexManager.zBase);
        },
        unfloat: function(el){
            el.el.setStyle('z-index', el.initialZIndex);
        }
    }
    If fire beforefloat event in floatCollapsedPanel and set z-index in this event it will look better.
