    Default Touch 2.3.1 List View - Can I modify the duration of itemtaphold?

    I'm using Sencha Touch 2.3.1.

    Is there a way to modify the duration of the itemtaphold event in the list?

    Currently it is set to 1000 ms but I have a client who requested it to be 3000 ms.

    Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't see a way to do it from this http://docs.sencha.com/touch/2.3.1/#....dataview.List

    Thanks.

    I don't know of a way to do this, but perhaps someone will share a workaround. 3 seconds seems like a long time though.

    Thanks Gary.

    As a workaround, I'm wrapping the contents of the function that is called from itemtaphold in an Ext.defer function that fires 2000ms later, like this:

    Code:
    onItemTapHold : function(list, index, target, record, e) {
           var me                 = this;

            Ext.Function.defer(function() {
                 doSomething();

            }, 2000, me);

    },

    Of course, since the itemtaphold event fires after 1 second, then the defer will fire 2000ms later whether or not the person intended.
