Default Party Time for End of Life IE 8 / 9 / 10

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Wind...-of-IE-support

For anyone living under a rock time to upgrade and let's start to party with the end of life for
    IE 8/9/10.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm throwing a party this weekend for this beautiful event.

    Thank you Microsoft!

Although it does mark the end of the old Microsoft's policy of lack lusterness, in the field it'll still take some time for this to work its way out. But I am enjoying this new Microsoft!

Yeah my company is dropping support for anything under IE11 next month because of this.

So for me its party time after 5 years of supporting IE7/8/9/10/11 with the same application.

Microsoft is doing its best to remove IE from the world but they will also need support from the echo system.
Frameworks like Sencha can also stop supporting it, to help eradicate it

We do surveys on a random group of customers to evaluate what browsers are important/crucial to them, this is why Ext JS 5 dropped IE 6/7. If customers say they need to support IE, then we will continue to support it. Before IE 8 was crucial to enough of our customers, after this announcement that may change but I think it'll take a bit for clients to implement the upgrades and get on board with Microsoft's new policy of being more active with updates and deprecations. I don't see full IE removal anytime soon, I think IE 8/9 would be the easiest to get rid of and IE 10/11 to stick around a bit which is fine. IE 10/11 weren't the worse things ever. Of course we'd like to only support the latest and greatest of browsers but we also have to be mindful of what customers tell us are crucial to their work.

Ha, that's the other thing... what will we blame things on now? So used to saying "It's IE6's fault"

Jan 12,2016 Microsoft has stopped supporting any browsers under IE11 for it's latest OS.
Win7 will only support IE11 for example.
