    Default GridPanel performance on show/hide columns

    I have a locked gridpanel with about 200 columns and 60 rows each column having renderers.
    On hide/show of multiple columns, its taking a lot of time.
    Is there a way to improve performance?

    I'm using ComponentQuery to get the columns then iterating and hiding them.

    Thanks,
    Amit

    yourGrid.suspendEvents();
    ...iteration over columns part...
    yourGrid.resumeEvents();

    Tried your solution but, it didn't make significant difference for me.
