    I'm glad to hear that a new calendar component (hopefully similar to this example) is going to become standard/supported. My users are asking for a calendar view but I'm loathe to pull apart an unsupported example and put that into production code.

    There will be new components with examples in the kitchensink. This will be coming with Ext JS 6.1, we do not have a public release date for this yet.

    Sencha should use their experience and deliver a set of components that would natively integrate with Angular 2 and React. The would be similar to the Kendo UI initiative.
