    Default Answered: Sencha Architect User Extension Definition File and Config using JSON Object

    So here in lies the problem...

    I have a particular widget based on Ext.Component supplied via a User Extension and as part of the definition file it is necessary to allow for a config item of type JSON, although this is not within the current documentation, only pointing to object ???

    How would you suggest that I allow for this JSON object as a type within the widget config definition.

    "configs": [{
    "name":"spec",
    "type":"object", <--- this needs to be JSON object
    "initialValue":null
    }]

    Second, is there a way of defining a type that is a custom JSON object that would be recursively nested. So for example...

    myType: { <--- this needs to be JSON object
    myItem: "Blah",
    myChildItems: [] <--- This would be of type myType, hence nested
    }

  2. Never mind the object was not conforming to standard JSON and so it failed parsing within Ext
