Default event recorder does not support page naviagtion

We were able to run sencha test and launch the event recorder and our app launched into our login screen. The event recorder could record anything on this login screen. We entered our credentials and then clicked submit, but then a sencha test alert appeared that said "Sencha Test does not currently support page navigation during a test scenario. Are you sure you want to leave this page?"

Our app like most online business apps initially only loads the login screen portion of our app, and once a successful login occurs, we then load the entire app. We just redirect to the same url.

How can we get around this? The url of the login and the main app are the same. Is there a test setting we are missing?

This is a show stopper for us.

    Thanks!

This is a limitation in the current release. Tests are currently loaded into the test subject (the page specified in the scenario) and so do not handle page navigation. We will address this limitation in a future release.

In the meantime, if this is only an authentication issue, perhaps you can get an auth token or cookie using a private/test-only API call?

+1Yeah there needs to be some pre-test scaffolding support for things like login at the very least since that is a very common use case. Please let us know when that would be available. Thanks and keep up the good work!
