Thread: API Docs issue: shortened text is not expanded when node is opened

Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for DOCS-231 in a recent build.

Default Answered: API Docs issue: shortened text is not expanded when node is opened

Hello! Another issue on new docs.

Just to reiterate, it would be good if we had somewhere to access older docs version still!

This does not happen everywhere, but it is not also just in one place, but I'll share one place that it occurs.

Also, I've reproduced this using IE11, didn't even try chrome or other browser.

    If you open: http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.0.2-m...tml#event-stop

You'll see the shortened version of the text like below:
    20160621-unexpanded_docs_item.jpg

Triple-clicking the text enables you to select the partial text (visually). Copying (ctrl+c) and pasting somewhere else reveals the whole text.

Thanks for the report! I have opened a documentation bug in our bug tracker.

By the way you can currently access older doc versions on this page:
    http://docs.sencha.com/misc/guides/offline_docs.html

Scroll down to the JSDuck section. Older versions will not be created for upcoming framework releases.

Thanks Gary! That was the direction I needed!

Seems that's been a recent forums on the site right? Looks great to have a dedicated forum for the docs app! I got another thread that should be moved here too. It would be:
    https://www.sencha.com/forum/showthr...for-Ext-Modern

    Thanks!
