    Default How to get the xtype of an instantiated component in EXT-3?

    I'm trying to get the component using its xtype:

    Code:
    Ext.ComponentQuery.query('xtype')
    that throws error" Cannot read property 'query' of undefined"
    the 'Ext.ComponentQuery' is undefined din EXT3. Is there any alternative to get the component using the xtype?

    You should be able to do it with the actual xtype rather than the word 'xtype', such as:
    Code:
    Ext.ComponentQuery.query('panel');
    UPDATE: Not sure that this will work with Ext 3.

    I tried that too with the actual xtype name, but Ext.QueryComponent returns undefined. not sure if this is meant for EXT-3.
