    Default Answered: Polar pie chart crashes the application on Chrome

    Hello,

    I am trying to use the 'Ext.chart.series.Pie' to visualize the values coming from three numberfields residing in the same window. So, when the user writes a new number in any of them the pie chart should redraw.

    The problem that i face is that on google Chrome the application crashes intermittently without any error written on the console.

    The store on the viewmodel is the following
    Code:
    stores: {

            BudgetList: Ext.create('Ext.data.Store', {
                fields: ['product', {
                    name: 'budget',
                    type: 'int'
                }],
                data: [{
                    product: "Market 1"
                }, {
                    product: "Market 2"
                }, {
                    product: "Market 3"
                }]
            })
        }

    My view looks like this
    Code:
    {
                                xtype: 'container',
                                flex: 0.9,
                                items: [
                                    {
                                        xtype: 'polar',
                                        width: 300,
                                        height: 300,
                                        interactions: 'rotate',
                                        bind: {
                                            store: '{BudgetList}'
                                        },
                                        series: {
                                            type: 'pie',
                                            label: {
                                                field: 'product',
                                                display: 'rotate'
                                            },
                                            xField: 'budget',
                                            radiusFactor: 60,
                                            donut: 30
                                        }
                                    }
                                ]
                            }

    And on my controller, i have a listener that whenever any of the number fields is updated, updates the respective data of the store. This way the pie chart redraws.
    Code:
    store.getAt(0).set('budget', newValue);

    Any ideas what might be the cause?

    Thanks in advance!

    So the app is (intermittently) crashing when the user enters a number?

    @Gary, I'm experiencing the same issue... here's an example. If you keep typing around in the grid Data column's editor (remember to be in Chrome and choose different cell each time), you'll eventually get the "Aw Snap..." page... I have an SWF video file, but I can't seem to figure out how to share it.

    It's good to note that I first experienced this in Ext 5.1.1, but then I tried 6.2, and it's still present. I'm running Chrome 51.0.2704.106 m (64-bit), so it's either a Chrome issue, or something with the creation of the canvas that Chrome doesn't like. And I was able to upload the SWF file to this dropbox link, so if you download it, you should be able to view it in Chrome.
