Default Sencha Architect 3.5.1 save project on a mapped network drive issue

    Hi,
i use the Sencha Architect to create an example App.
The future App should be running on IBM i5.
I mapped the IFS drive and try to save the project on it,
but i got the error for each JS object:

    Uncaught Error: watch Z:\desktop\PKS\Test1\TestProject1\metadata\view\Tasks ENOTSUP

    Any idea?

    Thanks in advance

So the Architect installation was uneventful (no warnings or errors)?

    Hi Boris

Where are you seeing this error?

So you created new App based on templates and save it. Where was please the save location? Could you simply save it to the documents folder?

After save, could you please open the Output log (it's on the bottom of the main screen) and check if there are any errors?

    Thanks
    Petr

    Hi Petr,

if I save the project on local drive ( C:\Users\yukimenka\Documents\TestProject ) it works fine, no warning no error. Cmd is alsow activated.
The ENOTSUP error is issued by saving on a network drive ( IFS folder on IBM i5 ). The same error is issued if I copy the whole project folder to that network drive and try to open it with SA.

I see. And is your network folder mapped to the system as a disk? If not. Please try to map it as a disk. Sencha Cmd has problem with Windows network path witch looks like this: //server/path

If it already is mapped and still doesn't work. Can you have it on your local machine ? You can have it locally and you can set the publsih path for the build to your server location.

When you open the build options you can set it there.

    Hi Petr,

the network drive was mapped properly as the disk Z:
I think the challenge is the IBM Integrated File System. IBM use their own solution for network sharing called NetServer. We will try to install Samba server on IBM i for network sharing.
