    Question beginMeasure/endMeasure equivalent in Ext 2.0

    We are in the middle of converting from Ext 1.1.1 to Ext 2.0.2

    In Ext 1.1.1 our code looked like this:
    Code:
    editor.beginMeasure();
    editor.editorHeight = editor.getHeight();
    editor.endMeasure();
    In Ext 2.0.2, I can't find an equivalent functionality to beginMeasure/endMeasure and since the container that I am measuring is in a display: none; block, it is currently returning a height of 0.

    Suggestions?

    Default

    I would also be interested to know how to get the size of an element with display='none' with ext 2.x

    I have this problem with a ComboBox transformer applied on an initialy not-displayed select which fail to render correctly once displayed in FireFox (but, oh irony, works fine with IE7)
