    Default Ext.form.field.HtmlEditor.focus() does not work

    Hello! A sample says more than a thousand words, right?

    So here's the example: Html Editor - focus() not working

    I wonder if I can incorporate this fiddle here in the thread? I see some with incorporated fiddles but I'm not sure how that was done. I'll give the forums a good search later for this.

    Alright, for the steps to reproduce:
    1. open the fiddle above on Internet Explorer 11.
    2. click the lose focus button just to focus on it (and ensure the editor is not focused!)
    3. click the get focus button. it will call html editor's focus() method.
    4. hit any alphanumeric key on your very keyboard. nothing happens.

    Now for chrome. Open the browser and:
    1. repeat the steps 1-3 above
    2. hit any alphanumeric key. Voila! It shows up in the text editor!

    I was hoping providing a fiddle reproducing the issue would shortcut this pattern.
