Default HTMLEditor and New Line character

    Hello All,
I've got an HTML Editor in a form panel by it self. When A user fills out this field with line breaks, a \n character is placed.
This information is saved, and when the record is loaded again later the HTMLEditor only seems to respect the \n in "Source Edit" mode. Otherwise everything is all on one line, it makes it pretty tough to read some things. Especially if they copy a several short lines out of a word document.

Any ideas on how to get the editor to respect the \n all the time? I can post some screen shots if necessary.

    Thanks!

With which browser and operating system are you seeing this behavior?

When I type the enter key within the htmleditor (for instance "a<cr>b<cr>c" where <cr> is a carriage return), the htmleditor changes the new lines into divs: "a<div>b</div><div>c</div>". It switches successfully to source edit and back. It sounds like you're having trouble after you get the data back from the server. What does your data look like?
