    Hmmmm. Tried that and still the items are invisible in Ext 3.2. Seems others have same problem. Did you get it to work in 3.2?

    I think the problem is that the stable release is broken. I found that a CSS class doesn't seem to exist in any of the bundled files.
    Code:
    <div class="ux-lovcombo-item-text">
    I think, without that CSS class, the items won't display and don't in the bundled demo page.

    Stable is for 2.x; download devel version and include also necessary css.

    Default LOVCombo in 3.2 - renderer issus

    Hi
    I'm using the LOVCombo with 3.2 - latest dev version (not stable).
    It all appears fine but the renderer acts up funny:

    Code:
    Ext.util.Format.multiComboRenderer = function(combo){
        return function(value){
        	var valueList = [];
        	var findArr = value.split(',');
        	var i, l=findArr.length;
        	for (i=0; i<l; i++) {
        		if (record = combo.findRecord(combo.valueField, findArr[i])) {
        			valueList.push(record.get(combo.displayField));
        		}
        	}
        	return valueList.join(',');
        }
    }
    When I blur out of the field, the renderer is called many times, but the first argument is not the list of selected values anymore. What has changed in this regard?

    Adding spaces to the reg exp match block helps a bit as for some reason the comma separated value list get spaced out ("1,2,3" becomes "1, 2, 3"):

    Code:
    this.store.each(function(r) {
    					var checked = !(!v.match(
    						 '(^|' + this.separator + '| )' + RegExp.escape(r.get(this.valueField))
    						+'(' + this.separator + '| |$)'))
    					;
    					r.set(this.checkField, checked);
    				}, this);

    The only way I could get LovCombo to work in a grid was to downgrade ext to 3.1.1. That's the last version that will work (still with some issues but all workaroundable).

    Yes and it didn't work. I can't get it to work properly in a grid with 3.2.0/3.2.1...
    Also had to remove the bit where you add a space in getCheckedDisplay. It prevented values from being found later.

    Is it possible for LovCombo not to clear the input with a new query? I want to append values from different queries, like on stackoverflow.com
