Default Combobox firing blur event upon scrollbar click

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 5.1.3, 5.1.1

    Browser versions tested against:
    • IE 11.0.9600.18426
    • Chrome 53.0.2785.116

    • Interacting with the scrollbar in a Combobox dropdown triggers a blur event

    Steps to reproduce the problem:

    The result that was expected:
    • The dropdown should scroll and the cursor should remain active in the combo. The alert message should not be shown until clicking away from the combobox.

    The result that occurs instead:
    • The blur event is triggered and the cursor disappears from the combo. The alert message is shown.

The problem occurs in 5.1.3 and 5.1.1 but not in 5.1.2

I filed a bug report for you. I spoke with the Engineer and he recommended using focusLeave instead of blur. ComboBox is a component that makes blur a difficult proposition to ascertain. The bug is filed but he suggested that it was not the right choice either way.

    Try this

The Jira I filed was EXTJS-22895

Thanks for the suggestion. I wasn't aware of these new events on focusable components after upgrading from 5.1.1 to 5.1.3 but will update to use them now.
