Thread: [6.2.0] emptyText inside config block breaks app for Ext.view.View

    Looks like we can't reproduce the issue or there's a problem in the test case provided.

    Default [6.2.0] emptyText inside config block breaks app for Ext.view.View

    Ext version tested:


    • Ext 6.2.0 rev 981 - broken
    • Ext 6.0.2 rev 437 - working

    Browser versions tested against:


    • Chrome 53

    Description:


    • When an 'emptyText' property is defined inside of the config block of a class that extends from 'Ext.view.View the application breaks with error.
    • Moving the 'emptyText' property outside of the config block or commenting out the property allows the application to continue to run instead of crashing.

    Steps to reproduce the problem:


    • Add emptyText property to the config block.

    The result that was expected:


    • Application to continue to run with no errors.
    • emptyText to show string of text as defined by the property.

    The result that occurs instead:


    • Error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getCount' of undefined
