    Default Ext+Air ready for primetime?

    All,

I have a basic question. Do you feel that the kinks (if any every existed) are worked out between Ext and Air. I want to recommend an Ext+Air vs a Java Swing app as the UI layer. However this is a mission critical app for my client and I want to make sure I won't regret my decisions. In other words once you get pass the cool task demo can Ext+Air deliver a top notch product?

Also are there any pitfalls or show stopper that you have come across using Ext+Air?

    Thanks for any input

    cheers,

    scott.

    Hi Scott,

I think they make a great combo and from my experience are running without kinks. You (or the developer(s)) will be happy and so will your client.

Here here... you might want to make sure you're thinking includes the thought of 'offline' mode as part of your architecture (as I'm sure you already have)... as there's plenty of air apps that don't work offline (and many more that do)...
