Default Answered: glyph vs iconCls for font icons

Which is the recommended way to use font icons on components - the glyph property or the iconCls property?

What are some use cases where one should be used vs the other?

  2. I use font awesome mainly so I just rely on their CSS classes they already have. If you don't have a CSS class (whether from the font author or your own) you can use the actual glyph. Personally use CSS class first.
