Default ExtJS + Electron + SQLite

Hello. I am looking at building a desktop app using Electron and wanted to use ExtJS. But, I need to have a local datastore that can support a decent sized DB (5,000 - 40,000 records). So I was thinking of using SQLite.

I am somewhat of a newbie and was wondering if anyone might be able to provide any insights or guidance:

    - Is there a proxy available for using SQLite in ExtJS? (I thought I saw one for Sencha Touch?)
    - If not, is there another DB that I could use on the client side? (IndexDB?)
    - Are there any examples out there where someone has done this?

    Any help offered is appreciated.

    Thank you.
