    Default How to manipulate the grid column using external parameter

    Hi,

    I have a grid that displays following info
    Comments User Name Comment Type Comment Date
    test1 ana.maria Initiator 03/18/2017
    test2 sam.porter Reviewer 03/19/2017
    test3 ana.maria Initiator 03/20/2017

    The Comment Type column is created based on who the user is. I have a parameter outside the grid which has username. How can I pass this external parameter to renderer function of the grid to check if this is initiator or reviewer.

    header: "Comment Type",
    componentCls: 'boldheader',
    width: 100,
    sortable: false,
    dataIndex: 'rowIndex',
    align: 'left',
    renderer: function(value, metaData, record, rowIndex){
    if (record.get('USERNAME') == initiator)
    return 'Initator';
    else
    return 'Reviewer';

    Kindly advice,
    Ana
