Thread: Architect and Bryntum

    I am looking at buying Bryntum Complete mainly for the Gantt Chart.

    Can anyone tell me if the Gantt chart component works with Architect? How about the other Bryntum components?

    Are there any other products that work with architect and produce Gantt charts?

    Any information appreciated.

    Erik

  2. Hello,
    At the moment we have Sencha Architect extensions for two of our products: Ext Scheduler and Kanban Taskboard.
    And for the Gantt extension we, unfortunately, had to postpone the development since there is no proper TreeStore-s support in SA extensions (which is blocking us since the Gantt naturally uses a tree store).
    Here is related forum requests FYI: https://www.sencha.com/forum/showthr...and-TreeStores, https://www.sencha.com/forum/showthr...=1#post1027544

    Hi Erik

    I had opportunity to work with with https://www.bryntum.com/products/taskboard/ and their SA extension worked with SA 4.2.1 in ExtJS 6.2 without any problems.

    However I think you should contact Bryntum if they guarantee full support. Btw I think they even have trial option, so you can try that.

    Regards
    Petr

    @realgaa

    Oh man, I am so sorry about this. You need to be more persistent in such threads.

    You can set-up tree store config like this:

    Code:
    {    name: 'TreePanelStore',
        type: 'store',
        storeSelector: 'treestore'
    }
    https://github.com/petrvecera/Sencha....Definition.js

    Working example with the classic extension https://github.com/petrvecera/SenchaArchitect-aux

    Ok. That's great news and we'll give it a try for sure.
    Can we read somewhere in the docs about this "storeSelector" option (details on how it can be used ..possible values etc)?

    I don't think it's documented anywhere.

    Internally the 'storeSelector' has these values:

    'storeSelector': 'treestore' // when you want to have treestore in there
    'storeSelector': '' // when you want all types of stores (the empty string is important)
    'storeSelector': 'calendar' // when you want calendar store

    @realgaa I have updated the docs about user extensions, there might be some configs you didn't know about http://docs-devel.sencha.com/archite...ture_-_configs

    Cheers

    Ah.. that's great! Thank you very much.
    I have a follow-up question: does "doc" option support markdown markup or should we use HTML?
