    If I write your code, how will you do this next time? How will you ever learn?

    You must do your own learning. It's difficult and frustrating, but I have been there and got through it by persevering.

    Give the img tag an ID.

    Then in your select listener, get the img using Ext.getDom, and poke the image path into the src attribute of the mig.

    CMIIW...

    i think you need add smth in rowselect handlers..

    PHP Code:
    Ext.getCmp(YOUR_IMGBOX_ID).el.dom.src rec.json[IMAGE_PATH_INDEX];

    if the image dont show up... check your path to the image... is it correct?

    Default

    Code:
    autoEl: {tag: 'img', src:Ext.getDom('renderNPreview'), width: 87, height: 124 }
    That does not assign an ID to the img!

    And on page initialization, when that code runs, what are you expecting Ext.getDom('renderNPreview') to yield?

    You will have to begin with an src of ''

    Thanks for ur reply
    u mean like this
    PHP Code:
    {

    // xtype: 'datefield',

    xtype'panel',

    autoEl: {tag'renderNPreview'src:"renderNPreview"width87height124 },

    id:'renderNPreview',

    listeners: {

    rowselect: function(smrowrec) {

    Ext.getDom('renderNPreview');

                         }
                     }

    i think u are so lost....

    first... the item for image bos is smth like this...
    PHP Code:
    {

    xtype 'box',

    id      'img_id',

    autoEl : {

    tag 'img',

    src ''

    }

    why do you want to change it to panel? and do you realy understand what is src and tag stands for? why do you make this config?
    PHP Code:
    tag'renderNPreview'src:"renderNPreview"
    and when i said add smth in rowselect... i didnt say to add rowselect listener in that image box component....
    please check out the grid configuration...

    ps: i dont think it is nice to create a new thread with the same problem....
