    Default Select Group Header

    Hii,
I looked at firebug, When row is selected x-grid3-row-selected class is used.
But there is no class like x-grid-group-selected.

Is there a way to select group Header while it is expanded or collapsed?
(When group is selected other selection must be cleared)

    Thanks for your advance...

SelectionModel is based on selecting rows and groups aren't rows, so this isn't going to be easy.

Alternatively you could use a TreeGrid. In the TreeGrid the groups are also records, so you can select them.

Dear Condor thanks for your reply.

    It is very interesting extension.
But I made a lot of staff in normal grid (grid summary, group summary).
I am sure I will have errors while combining TreeGrid with grid summary and espacially group summary.

I give up only one selection. I mean I plan to put different backgound color (different than normal selection) for groupheader selection and user can also select row.

Actually, I want when user click a row, its group header background color will changed. If user click another row, previous selection's group header backgorund becomes white.

    Thanks a lot.

Yes, this can be done, but you will have to build it all yourself.
