will it be possible for us to share the zipped versions directly over here?
i am asking this coz. persons like me do not have any web space where we can host our examples

There's a lot of free services for hosting a file. You could put it on one and link to it. In the future I may be able to come up with some way to allow you to upload it to this site. It's all about having the time to do it securely.

If anyone knows of a free service that allows uploading of directories, please post.
My current free site uploads one file at a time, not a good long term solution for me.

I think (if it even still exists) that yahoo briefcase (or whatever its called) lets you set files to public. Not sure on limits though.

There are tools which you can download that lets you upload whole directory to this site..
There might be individual file zie limitations though.
Its a good bargain i guess

The esnips tools are windows-only right now, they are working on Mac support.
I'll switch when they get there (without them I cannot even create a subdirectory)

There are plenty
Try out box.net and streamloader.com whic offers very huge space where you can share your code from!
