Default Answered: How can I extend Ext.grid.plugin.Editable?

    Here is the codes:
    https://fiddle.sencha.com/#view/editor&fiddle/29tl

Purpose: I want to modify the editor window, not necessary to extend the 'Ext.grid.plugin.Editable'.

Issue: Editor window does not show up when I double click on a row when I extend this class.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Well, you can extend Ext.grid.plugin.Editable and override the toolbarConfig to get all the buttons up there that you want, and configure the standard Delete button to not be there. Then, override the onSubmitTap method to do additional checks on your form data before actually setting the values back to the record and hiding the sheet.

The source for the plugin can be found here to see what was overridden/changed: http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.5.1/m...itable.js.html

Based on the previous post https://www.sencha.com/forum/showthr...w-to-FormPanel
I create a editor window that allows you to edit a row. It is similar to Ext.grid.plugin.Editable. However, I do not use the plugin at all. I still want to know how to config/modify the plugin editor window.

What exactly are you referring to when you say you want to modify the window? Do you mean the form field that show by default?

I understand form field that show by default can be controlled by setting them editable or not. I want to hide the Delete button or set it on the same toolbar with Submit and cancel button.
Also, I want to compute input values when users enter them in the form before they hit the Submit button. Thanks!
