    Default 6.5.3 nightly regression - Combo doc changes incorrect

    In the 6.5.3 nightly, the modern combo documentation has been modified for the change event to indicate the new value and old value are models.

    From the code:
    Code:
    /**
     * @event change
     * Fires when the field is changed, or if forceSelection is false, on keystroke.
     * @param {Ext.field.ComboBox} this This field
     * @param {Ext.data.Model} newValue The new value
     * @param {Ext.data.Model} oldValue The original value
     */
    This is not the case and it's easily verifiable with a test case:

    Code:
    Ext.onReady(function() {
        new Ext.field.ComboBox({
            renderTo: document.body,
            store: {
                data: [{
                    id: 1,
                    name: 'One'
                }, {
                    id: 2,
                    name: 'Two'
                }]
            },
            displayField: 'name',
            valueField: 'id',
            listeners: {
                change: function(field, newValue, oldValue) {
                    console.log(newValue, oldValue);
                }
            }
        });
    });

    Thanks for reporting. Looks like select event returns a Model instance from the selection and change returns a String.
