    Default Drag Drop Tree Node into Leaf

    Currently it seems not to be possible to drop a node into a leaf node. The relevant code in Ext.tree.ViewDropZone.getPosition seems to be:

    Code:
    noAppend = record.isLeaf(),
    Before I create an override for that: Is there any way around this? In my case it should be possible to drop into leaf nodes as these become folders then. Just setting leaf=false is not an option as it corrupts the layout.

    Thanks for your help!

    Best regards

    No, you can't because a leaf can't have any children.

    Just setting leaf=false is not an option as it corrupts the layout.
    Then you're probably not configuring it correctly.

    Setting leaf=false causes the "expand arrow" to be shown next to the tree item which is incorrect as there are no items. That's what I meant by "corrupt layout".

    I'd assume that means you're configuring it wrong. Please provide code so we can see what you are doing.
