Default Answered: Firefox and Safari testing issues with a mouse move error

There is a ticket opened already, Orion-1736, but i see there has been no movement since i was shown the issue existed.

Is there an ETA on when we will be able to test against Firefox and Safari using SauceLabs server farms?

  2. You're likely running in to compatibility issues with newer Firefox versions and Selenium Server. Please see the response in this thread. You will have more success with Firefox version 46 or lower. We've been recommending use of Firefox 46, Selenium 2.5 and geckodriver, due to Marionette driver not yet being feature complete (see this link).

When using Sauce Labs, if you define Firefox 46 to be used on your browser pool in Sencha Studio, it will automatically use Selenium Server 2.5 and geckodriver. See the Sauce Labs docs here (expand the "Firefox and Selenium Versions" section to see the table of version numbers).

We do have an issue logged for Safari. This will be addressed in a future update to Sencha Test.

    Thanks.
