    Default ES6 and EXTJS

Just curious about the relation between EXTJS and ES6 and what EXTJS provides in this regard for backward compatibility, etc., ignoring Transpilers. Any thoughts on this. Here's a good article to bring folks up to speed.

a pretty disappointing article, ignoring the whole basis of why JavaScript was written the way it is, it's not broken, it's clever, and allows for people to create stuff outside the box, that ES6 will limit sadly. It's step back and a step forward, depending on how you're using it.

That article is 3 years old by the way. Only looked at the date after I posted it. I think many of the premises still hold.
