Thread: Testing multiple browser tabs

    Default Testing multiple browser tabs

I have a test that will open a new browser tab. Is it possible to use the Sencha Test API to test the new tab that opens?
When using Inspector, i am unable to locate any components on the new tab.

Please let me know if you have any insight on this issue.

    Thank you.

Is this a WebDriver scenario? If so, please see if this helps: https://www.sencha.com/forum/showthr...th-Sencha-test.

If you need to inspect on the new tab, you would need to make sure the code that switches tabs executes before the Inspect tool starts - you can do that by placing your cursor further down your test suite (after the code that switches tabs), then clicking the button to launch the Inspect tool.

Also, if you just want to generate locators, there's an unofficial Chrome extension that can help suggest locators directly in the browser: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...ceajbacngjippj.
