    Default Ext.chart.AbstractChart.applySprites() doesn't return the sprites

    It looks to me like the applySprites() method in ExtJS 6.5.3's Ext.chart.AbstractChart class is returning the list of sprite configs it was given and not an array of the resulting sprite objects that were added to the surface. I want to be able to update the attributes of one after but the only way I've found to do this is to
    Code:
    chart.getSurface().add({config})
    and save the returned sprite object for later. I expected to be able to call setSprites() (or pass configs in when constructed) and later access the resulting sprite objects (Ext.draw.sprite.Text objects in my case) with something like chart.getSprites()[0].
