    Default Memory Store Loading Mask

I'm pulling some data from the server via Ext.Direct into a regular store. I'm then loading that into a memory store for local paging/filtering purposes, and binding that memory store to a grid. the data loads fine, but I can't seem to get the load mask to work. On the grid, I have loadMask: true. I even tried setting a loadMask explicitly in the memory store's beforeLoad listener, but I was unable to reference the grid. Does anyone have a workaround for this?

A memory store never loads, because all the "loading" for a memory store is synchronous. You would need to mask the grid manually.

Thanks for the reply. How is this done? I've set the mask up in the config, is there another way to do it manually?
